The H&K UMP submachine gun replica was manufactured by S&T under licence from Umarex. Just like the original weapon, it is made of high-quality, durable ABS plastic with only a few metal elements. This makes the replica very light and quick and easy to manoeuvre. In addition, the design is fully ambidextrous - thanks to this, the replica is extremely friendly for left-handers.

The replica is equipped with a stock that folds onto the right side of the replica and a set of 22mm RIS rail system - which is located on the top of the replica and on the front handle. This makes it possible to attach some additional equipment to the replica such as a red dot scope, and also any other type of equipment, including laser target markers, tactical torches and vertical tactical grips.

The iron visor can be significantly adjusted both horizontally and vertically.

The replica is based on the STAR UMP module, which guarantees full compatibility with STAR and Ares magazines. Thanks to the use of the dummy cocking handle instead of the real cocking handle, it has become possible to extend the battery compartment so that a 9.6V stick battery can be used.

The replica is equipped with a V.3 type metal gearbox with metal threaded wheels mounted on 7mm steel ball bearings. This design utilises a quick-change system for the main spring, which allows the performance of the replica to be adapted to the respective conditions and games in a matter of seconds. Access to the gearbox is gained by removing a single bolt - this exposes the lower part of the housing and allows immediate access to the gearbox.

The S&T company has decided to move a little away from the original gun - the replica is equipped with an effective, versatile trigger system known from the CA M249 replicas, among others. Despite these modifications, the gearbox is still compatible with most replacement and tuning parts available on the market.

The replica is characterised by a very high firing concentration - it is possible to fire constantly at a man-sized target from a distance of 40 metres and achieve good accuracy. By using a 9.6V battery, a rate of fire of 950 rounds per minute is achieved while maintaining the muzzle velocity of approx. 320 FPS, which is achieved thanks to the manufacturer's basic configuration.

The replica is primarily designed for CQB games - the appropriate muzzle velocity in combination with high manoeuvrability, good shot concentration and high rate of fire as well as the high rate of fire make this replica a perfect tool for short-range encounters. Nevertheless, it is also ideal for use at medium ranges as a pure assault rifle for operations in the forest or in urban areas.

The rifle is equipped with a Hi-Cap magazine that holds 450 BB pellets. The magazine base construction is worth mentioning - the loading system is secured and protected by a plate, which on the one hand significantly minimises the possibility of mechanical damage to the pommel and on the other hand does not restrict the use of the pommel in any way.
