M150 main spring

The main spring was developed to be used in tuning measures of electrical replicas (AEGs). The spring is non-uniform, which significantly extends the life of the system by minimising the clumping effect of the spring, provided of course that the spring is fitted correctly. It is manufactured by the well-known company G&G.

In a typical system, the spring allows the BB pellet to be fired at a muzzle velocity of approximately ~500 FPS. However, it should be noted that the final muzzle velocity achieved by mounting the spring depends on the tightness of the system, the type of cylinder used, the length of the barrel and its diameter. The ends of the spring have been ground, which results in better function.
