Description

The Silverback MDR-X V2 is our licensed airsoft version of the real steel counterpart from Desert Tech LLC.

Very realistic in its design to mimic the original construction and features as much as possible, while incorporating a high quality gearbox, capable of delivering high performance from DMR to CQB applications.

Realistic construction and assembly

Manufactured under exclusive licence from Desert Tech LLC
Fully engraved markings with unique serial number.
Aluminium receiver from the 6000 series, barrel and muzzle brake.
PA6 nylon, glass fibre reinforced shaft, handle and hand guard, synthetic rubber butt cap.
MLOK hand guard, with 3 slots at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock.
2 steel QD fasteners on the back of the shaft.
Ambidextrous fire selector switch and 3-point magazine release.
Interchangeable realistic ejection panels.
Realistically moving, ambidextrous cocking lever.

High-quality gearbox

Designed for operation with 11.1 V Li-Po batteries (operation with 7.4 V possible)
Electronic trigger, CPU motor control, gear shift and detection of the fire selector switch position by Hall effect sensor.
CNC aluminium cylinder with large bore (26 mm diameter, +19 % larger than standard AEGs), including quick-change spring design.
Useful volume 22.5 cc (with standard vented 75% cylinder)
CNC cylinder head made of aluminium, piston damper made of NBR, nozzle made of stainless steel.
CNC aluminium piston head with venting, FKM O-ring, POM slide ring.
CNC spring guide made of stainless steel and aluminium, equipped with a thrust bearing. Design with 3 lugs for better axial alignment.
"Shockless" construction.
CNC piston body made of aluminium, gear rack made of hardened MIM steel with 16 teeth.
Gear set 18:1, hardened MIM steel.
ADC 12 aluminium gearbox housing, 10mm ball bearing.
Neodymium motor with high torque 19000RPM (11.1V), short axle.

Efficient hop-up design

Hop-up unit made of durable polycarbonate material.
TCD, rotatable ring construction.
Incremental "click" settings with 2 ball plungers, 36 positions from 0 to 750 µm with the low plunger (installed, for standard Bbs configuration) and from 500 to 1250 µm with the high plunger (supplied, for heavy Bbs configuration).
420 mm brass inner tube. 6.05 mm bore, surface treatment by chemical passivation, AEG hop-up cut.

The MDRX is supplied with:

78 rounds AR10/SR25 magazine (G&P / A&K type)
Two additional drive springs (*).
A replacement semi-automatic trigger board (semi-automatic/fully automatic trigger board is included in the scope of delivery) (**).
A pin driver for easy battery replacement and removal
4 spanners (Allen key 2.5 mm, Allen key 5 mm, Torx T20 and Torx T25).
A high nose for the hop-up unit to lift balls from 0.32 grams (the low nose is already included in the scope of delivery).
A PCB jumper for switching from 11.1 V to 7.4 V batteries or for deactivating the battery protection (***)
