The latest series of replicas created by Amoeba Airsoft is based on the well-known design of the AR assault rifles, but these replicas have been modified and equipped with many Design details and interesting technical solutions, such as the Full modularity of the fronts and barrel sets, which makes the Mutant a very universal replica.

The receiver was made from reinforced nylon. The quality of the materials makes it difficult to recognise at first glance that it is plastic and not metal. There are effective-looking markings on the receiver, including the model, calibre and the Amoeba Airsoft logo. The modular front grip, the outer barrel, the silencer, the stock guide and small parts are made of metal. The pistol grip is cleanly profiled and has a rough finish, non-slip texture which increases grip and comfort. The magazine release has been enlarged to facilitate operation.

The replica is fitted with an adjustable Telescopic shaft which makes it possible to customise the weapon to the shooter's personal preferences. The battery can be accommodated in the stock and in the guide. The hop-up system can be adjusted by pulling back the charging handle and exposing the cartridge ejection port, as is usual with this type of gun.

Mutant has a Modular front handle unitwhich allows the replica to be fully customised to the individual needs of the user. Depending on the user's needs, a replica can fulfil many different purposes. Replacing the front assembly with the barrel and chamber has never been so easy!

The replica has a Quick spring change system with which the spring in the replica can be replaced without having to dismantle the gearbox frame. The centrepiece of the replica is a reinforced, slightly modified v.2 gearbox with integrated EFCS module - Electronic Firing Control System. It controls the operation of the trigger unit, ensures smooth operation and shortens the response time of the motor when the trigger is pulled. The standard contact block has been replaced by an electronic system. EFCS also has a built-in MOSFET chip.

EFCS increases the Longevity of the mechanism and thus the entire replica considerably and enables the use of high-voltage batteries, including LiPo. After purchasing an external, special EFCS programmer, we can set the sequence of firing modes as well as the burst mode (3-BB series).

The magazine that comes with the replica is a plastic mid-cap with a capacity of 140 BBs. The magazine is covered with a rough, non-slip texture and features a Fold-out pull-mag handle.
