The latest airsoft rifle series from Amoeba Airsoft is based on the well-known design of the AR assault rifles; however, these airsoft rifles have been modified accordingly and equipped with many Design details and interesting technical solutions, such asFull modularity of the front and barrel sets, which makes the Mutant a very universal airsoft rifle.

The housing of the airsoft rifle is made of reinforced nylon manufactured. The quality of the materials used makes it difficult to recognise at first glance that it is plastic and not metal. The housing is labelled with Conspicuous markingsunderneath: Model, calibre and the Amoeba Airsoft logo. Metal was used for the production of the modular front grip, the outer barrel, the silencer, the stock guide and small parts. The pistol grip is cleanly moulded and finished with a rough, non-slip texture which increases grip and comfort. The magazine release button has been enlarged to facilitate operation.

The airsoft rifle is equipped with a telescopic, adjustable Shank which allows the length to be adapted to the shooter's build and preferences. The battery fits into the stock and the guide. The hop-up system adjustment is accessed in the usual way for this type of design - by pulling back the cocking handle and exposing the cartridge ejection port.

The Mutant has a Modular front handle unitwhich makes it possible to fully customise the replica to the individual needs of the user. Depending on requirements, an airsoft rifle can be used for many different purposes. It has never been so easy to replace the front assembly with the barrel and chamber!

Amoeba airsoft rifles offer the possibility of quick spring changewithout having to dismantle the gearbox skeleton. The centrepiece of the airsoft rifle is a reinforced, slightly modified v.2 gearbox with a Integrated EFCS - Electronic Firing Control System Module. It controls the operation of the trigger unit, ensures smooth operation and shortens the reaction time of the motor after the trigger is pulled. The standard contact block has been replaced by an electronic system. EFCS also has a Built-in MOSFET unit.

EFCS Increases the service life of the mechanism and thus the entire airsoft rifle and enables the use of high-voltage batteries, including LiPo. By purchasing an external, special EFCS programming device the user can set the sequence of firing modes and the short burst mode (3 pellets).

The magazine attached to the airsoft rifle is a plastic clip with a medium opening and a capacity of 140 pellets. The magazine is covered with a rough, non-slip texture and features a hinged Pull-Mag handle.

The set contains neither a battery nor a charger.
