BY-808 replica is made of ABS plastic. The upper half of the body forms one part together with the RIS rail and the hand guard. It is also equipped with RIS mounting rails.

The elements that distinguish this model from other PDW replicas (Personal Defence Weapon - rifles/machine guns in the shortest and lightest versions, designed for helicopter crews, tanks, drivers as a defensive weapon that can also fire in AUTO mode) are dimensions, weight and, above all, versatility. It can be operated by left- and right-handed shooters. The replica has a ambidextrous fire mode selectorthanks to which you can easily switch the shooting mode with the thumb or index finger of any hand, as well as via the so-called "multi-magazine catch" - a an ambidextrous magazine release. The manufacturer has attached attachment points for QD straps to the body and shaft of the replica.

The replica has a folding stock that allows the user to reduce the length of the replica to a minimum (450 mm). On the top of the receiver, the manufacturer placed the hinged "flip-up" type sights, which are made with great attention to detail, functional and solid. We can easily access the hop-up chamber by using the charging handle.

The replica battery can be placed in a dummy type PEQ battery box added to the set, the replica cables are pulled from the RIS rail.

The replica is equipped with the metal V2 gearbox and polymer hi-cap magazine with a capacity of around 200 BBs.
