The fully licensed full-metal VFC Airsoft replica of the Sig Sauer MCX Virtus is now also available with a ready-to-use Wolverine Inferno Gen. 2 Spartan Edition HPA firing system. Thanks to the Sig Sauer licence, this high-quality replica is also equipped with all the engraved original markings. The original Sig Sauer MCX Virtus rifles are multi-calibre rifles that are manufactured in five variants. Rifles from this series have been in production since 2015 and are already in use by German police units (Berlin, Schleswig Holstein) and the US SOCOM. The special feature of this airsoft version is clearly the built-in and fully configured Wolverine Inferno Gen. 2 Spartan Edition HPA system. Thanks to this semi-automatic firing system in 6mm BB calibre, familiar problems such as gear jams or no power due to cold temperatures are a thing of the past. In combination with the adjustable firing power of up to 2.3 joules, the Sig Sauer MCX Virtus HPA is the ideal airsoft rifle for professional airsoft players.

The front of this rifle is fitted with a steel flash hider in the original design (14mm). The outer barrel of this rifle is split in two and is manufactured using CNC machining. The decorative gas linkage on the MCX airsoft replica is very interesting. As with the original, the upper continuous 21 mm rail of the front system of the VFC airsoft replica is firmly connected to the upper main receiver. This ensures maximum stability and prevents wobbling between the system components. The lower front system is equipped with a modern M-LOK system. The special M-LOK add-on parts can be mounted directly here (without an additional 21 mm rail). Numerous accessories for this mounting system can now be purchased on the aftermarket. As a battery compartment for the small LiPo-The battery is located in the cavity under the front system. To change the battery, the two lower hexagon socket screws must be unscrewed. The connection cable of the weapon has the red standard JST type Battery-connection. In addition to the outstanding Vega Force Company manufacturing quality, the coating of the metal parts also gives a very high-quality and true-to-original impression.

Like many other rifles based on AR15 platforms, the MCX Virtus also has a two-part main receiver. The matt colouring is powder-coated, which ensures very good abrasion resistance. The build quality is also of a particularly high standard, with both aluminium housing halves fitting together perfectly. The Sig Sauer logo and other original lettering are engraved on the left-hand side of the lower body. The upper receiver features the original Virtus lettering. All the above logos and lettering are engraved deep into the receiver and are therefore not lost even if the rifle is painted. A consecutive serial number is also laser engraved on the left side. Another interesting feature is the functioning bolt-catch mechanism, which ensures easy adjustment of the Hop-Up system. The bolt catch, fire selector lever and magazine release lever can be operated from both sides, making it ideal for left-handers. The MCX grip made of composite plastic is attached under the receiver. This has the same shape as the original model.

The stock is a special model that can be adjusted in length 3 times. The stock frame is made entirely of steel, only the ribbed butt plate is made of nylon fibre. A QD sling mount can be attached to the QD eyelets on both sides.

As already mentioned in the introduction, in addition to the external build quality, the internal parts of the rifle are also very interesting. The VFC / Sig Sauer MCX Virtus is powered by the proven Wolverine Inferno HPA system in generation 2. The system is of course completely pre-assembled and ready to use, so that only a battery and a filled HPA cylinder with remote line and regulator need to be connected in order to be able to use the rifle. The revolutionary Wolverine Inferno System in the Gen. 2 version has a single-pole Soleniod and an independent disc and nozzle design. It is a hybrid design that combines the advantages of an open-bolt and closed-bolt HPA system. This means no empty rounds on the first shot, as the 6mm BB is already seated in the hop-up chamber before the first shot is fired. A plus point that also increases shooting accuracy. Compared to conventional HPA systems, Wolverine Airsoft has also been able to increase efficiency. The manufacturer states very good values of around 10 - 15%. As this is the Spartan edition, the Spartan electronic components are of course also installed. This feature allows adjustments to be made quickly and easily via the trigger of the rifle. Another practical feature of this HPA system is that the shooting performance can be easily changed by adjusting the system pressure on the regulator. According to the manufacturer, a maximum of 2.3 joules is therefore possible.

The hop-up system is the current VFC Generation II hop-up unit in one-piece design with drum-type adjustment wheel. As with all other M4 / M16 airsoft replicas, the unit is located under the deco shell ejection port. To adjust, simply pull the custom cocking lever - adjust the hop-up - and then press the bolt catch on the side. The ejection port is now closed again and the hop-up system is protected from dirt.

All Tokyo Marui compatible M4, M15, M16 magazines can be used, e.g. from Dytac, Tokyo Marui, Ares Airsoft, Hexmag, etc.

A full HPA tank, regulator with remote line, LiPo drive battery and 6mm BB round pellets are required for operation - see accessories.
