The ASR112 carabiner replica from the company APS is a Innovative design which is equipped with a gearbox that has a special hybrid design and can be used as a "APS Hybrid Gearbox". The ASR111 is based on the typical design of the popular American carbine and is equipped with the RAS Guardian RTS assembly and a free-floating Steel outer barrel (the so-called free-float barrel system). The upper RIS rail enables the mounting of optical sights such as a telescopic sight or a red dot sight, but is by default a base for the mounting of folding sights that are precisely manufactured from durable plastic, the so-called APS Rhino Iron Sights. The iron sights require special attention - they allow shooting from both low and high profiles thanks to the possibility of setting the iron sights in two positions.
The replica is equipped with a multi-position stock that holds the battery, and it is also equipped with a ergonomic pistol grip. Also, the RAS Guardian mount is extremely functional and comfortable in use, while its forward construction allows the shots to be placed with the use of various support methods.
The RAS Guardian RTS (Rail Transformation System) is probably the most characteristic feature of the replica. The rail allows complete customisation to the individual needs of the user. It is possible to use normally placed RIS rail segments on the RTS rails (top, bottom, right, left) and it is also possible to place them in intermediate positions (left-top, right-bottom and so on). The replica includes a RIS rail with a QD mounting point, a QD attachment and an angled tactical grip.
The New "APS Hybrid" gearboxes is the centrepiece of the replica. It has been designed and manufactured in an innovative and more user-friendly way and, according to the comparative tests carried out by the manufacturer 33% more effective in terms of energy consumption compared to the standard unit. It is equipped with a Quick-change system for the main spring which allows the user to change the muzzle velocity of the BB pellet without having to open the gearbox. Nevertheless, the design is absolutelycompatible with most tuning and spare parts available on the market that comply with the TM V.2 standard, which makes it easy to tune the replica if required.
The increased torques are on 7mm metal bearings. The electrical unit consists of a shielded, low-impedance cabling which are equipped with a MOSFET system which ensures stable operation of the system, which, like the motor of the replica, is equipped with a metal core. The cylinder and the semi-precision 6.05mm barrel are made of Stainless steel.
The replica is equipped with the EBB system - an electrical system that imitates the function of the bolt holder. It improves the realism of the replica by making it more similar to the original weapon and at the same time provides additional shooting pleasure.
