The Specna Arms brand SA-A08 Carbine replica is mainly made of a homogeneous alloy of zinc and aluminium with the use of steel elements in the neuralgic points of the replica ( the screws, the pins and the tactical sling attachment points are made of steel ). The SF stock, which holds the battery, and the pistol grip are made of polymer plastic. The body of the replica and the RIS rail were modelled after the Anodising process which guarantees a high level of corrosion protection. The replica itself was painted with the Pulverisation method after the surface of the replica has been sandblasted. This ensures that the paint is more resistant to abrasion than usual. The body of the replica bears the USMC markings.

The replica was very well fitted - in a way that had previously only been seen on the G&P or Classic Army class replicas. It was also perfectly balanced. This ensures perfect manoeuvrability of the replica, while its weight is almost imperceptible when placed on the shoulder.

The replica uses a fast main spring changing system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. This allows for quick and fluid adjustment of the replica's performance to battlefield conditions without the need to have access to a workshop or a range of specialised tools - by removing the gearbox from the replica's body, the process of replacing the mainspring takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system can hardly be overestimated. Considering the existing laws in Europe that limit the muzzle velocity of the replica and the facilities within the airsoft society, this system guarantees the user great possibilities and more freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows the main spring to be changed in a very short time and the muzzle velocity of the replica to be adapted to the battlefield, ensuring a perfect compromise between the effectiveness of firing and the safety of yourself and other players.

The replica has been fully adapted to work with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Thanks to the basic muzzle velocity of about 410 FPSguaranteed by the standard main spring, the replica is perfectly suited for use at medium distances. The set also contains one M90 main springwhich makes it possible to reduce the muzzle velocity to approx. 310 FPS, making the replica perfect for short-range missions or fighting inside buildings.

The gearbox, which is reinforced at the level of the cylinder head, conceals a steel main spring guide, which is the element of the Enter & Convert™ system, as well as8mm ball bearing and Steel threaded wheelswhich are mounted on spacers. The system is secured with four reversing locks. The lightweight polycarbonate piston is fitted with a steel tooth to increase its durability. There is a Type 2 cylinder and the Steel hammer and a Metal hop-up chamberwhich are used in this replica.

The updated version features a number of new, reinforced parts such as:

The replica is equipped with an upper 22mm RIS rail, a set of front 22mm RIS rails and an adjustable stock. The folding sight is located on the upper RIS rail and can be easily removed and replaced with an optoelectronic sight. Thanks to the folding stock, which ends with a non-slip butt plate, it is possible to adjust the length of the replica to the shooter's build and preferences. The standard flash hider is mounted on a 14mm left-hand thread which allows a silencer to be fitted in its place.

To increase the degree of realism, the replica was fitted with a functional locking lever equipped.

The replica set also contains a steel magazine with 300 BB bullets.
