SA-V20 assault rifle replica from Specna Arms is mostly made of a uniform zinc and aluminium alloy, which is reinforced with steel elements in the most sensitive areas of the replica (steel elements - all screws, pins and tactical sling swivels). Both the stock, which holds the battery, and the pistol grip are made of polymer. The receiver of the replica and the RIS handguard were subjected to the anodising process, which guarantees high corrosion protection. The colour was applied using a powder coating process after the surface was subjected to the same process before the paint was applied. This ensures that the applied paint has far above-average abrasion resistance.

The parts of the replica fit together very well - the replica is also perfectly balanced in a way that was previously only seen in replicas from top manufacturers such as G&P or Classic Army. This allows for almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica and the weight is hardly noticeable once you have shouldered the replica.

The replica has a quick release system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. Thanks to this system, it is possible to quickly adjust the performance of the replica to the expected conditions on the pitch without the need to have access to a workshop or a set of special tools - once the gearbox has been removed from the body of the replica, the process of changing the spring takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system can hardly be overestimated. Given the current trend across Europe to utilise legal restrictions on muzzle velocity of replicas or internal regulations within different groups, the system guarantees the user a wide range of options and a great deal of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system makes it possible to change the mainspring in a minimum of time and thus adapt the muzzle velocity to the playing area in such a way that an ideal compromise between effectiveness of fire and safety for the user himself and for other participants is guaranteed.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Due to the basic muzzle velocity of ~430 FPS, which is achieved by the main spring installed as standard by the manufacturer, the replica is perfectly suited for medium-range operation.

The gearbox, reinforced at cylinder head level, conceals a steel main spring guide, which is the element of the Enter & Convert™ system, as well as 8mm ball bearings and steel threaded gears mounted on spacers. The system is secured by four backstops. There is a type 2 cylinder and the steel interrupter. The replica is factory fitted with a precise, rotating polymer hop-up unit that allows for very precise and stable regulation of the BB overclocking.
