The SA-A29 carbine replica from Specna Arms is predominantly made of a uniform zinc-aluminium alloy, with steel elements being used at the most critical points of the replica (all screws, pins and the tactical suspension are made of steel). Both the SF stock and the pistol grip, which holds the battery, are made of polymer plastic. The body of the replica and the RIS rail mount are made of a Anodising process which guarantees a high level of corrosion protection for the replica. The replica itself was painted in Powder processafter the surface had been sandblasted.

The replica is very well fitted and perfectly balanced - as has almost only been seen with manufacturers of the G&P or Classic Army class. This ensures almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica, while its weight is also barely noticeable as soon as the replica rests against the shoulder.

The replica uses the quick spring change system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's performance to the expected field conditions without the need for access to a workshop or a range of specialised tools - after removing the gearbox from the replica's body, the actual spring change takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system can hardly be overestimated. Given the prevailing tendency throughout Europe to legally limit the firing speed of replicas and the regulations that exist in the environments themselves, this system guarantees the user considerable possibilities and a high degree of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows a minimum of time for replacing the main spring and thus the adjustment of the replica's exit speed to the playing area in order to ensure an ideal compromise between the effectiveness of the weapon and the safety of oneself and other players.

The replica has been fully adapted for operation with LiPo and LiFe batteries. With an initial discharge rate of ~410 FPS guaranteed by the pre-installed main spring, the replica is perfectly suited for medium-range shooting. A M90 type spring is also included, which allows the initial speed to be reduced to ~310 FPS, making the replica perfect for short distance or indoor use.

The gearbox, which is reinforced at cylinder head height, conceals a steel spring guide that is part of the Enter & Convert™ system and is mounted on the cylinder head. 8mm ball bearingsh and washers Steel gears is mounted. A folding sight has been fitted to the upper RIS rail, but this can be replaced by an optoelectronic sight if required. Thanks to the sliding buttstock, which is fitted with a non-slip texture base, it is possible to adjust the length of the replica to the shooter's build and preferences. The custom flame is mounted on a 14 millimetre left-hand thread which makes it possible to fit a silencer.

To increase the realism of the gameplay, the replica was also equipped with a actuated shutter release equipped.

The replica also comes with a hi-cap steel magazine that holds 300 rounds.
