SA-B12 from Specna Arms was largely manufactured from an alloy of zinc and aluminium, with some Steel elements were applied to the most problematic areas of the replica (pins, screws and tactical sling swivels). The SF stock, which holds a battery, and the pistol grip were made of polymer. The body of the replica was subjected to an anodising process, which guarantees a high level of protection against corrosion. The paintwork was carried out by Powder coatingafter the surface has been sandblasted. This type of paint finish makes the paint more abrasion-resistant than usual. The bodywork carries USMC markings.

All parts of the replica go very well together - a high standard previously only seen in replicas from well-known brands such as G&P or Classic Army - and it is exceptionally well balanced. All this makes this replica very manoeuvrable and its weight is practically imperceptible when it is on the shoulder.

With a fast spring release system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. It enables quick and seamless adjustment of spring strength to the expected conditions on the simulated battlefield without the need for a workshop nearby or access to specialised tools - once the gearbox is removed from the housing, the spring change process takes just a few seconds.

The advantages of Enter & Convert™ cannot be overestimated. In view of the current policy in Europe of adhering to the legally prescribed restrictions on the muzzle velocity of the replica and the regulations for the environment itself, this system guarantees the user far-reaching possibilities and a great deal of freedom. The Enter & Cover™ system allows the user to the main spring in a minimum of time and thus adapt the muzzle velocity of the replica to the conditions of the battlefield, so that the best compromise between fire efficiency and safety of the user and the other players is found.

The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe Batteries. The standard main spring guarantees a muzzle velocity of ~410 FPS, which makes this replica work well at medium range. The set includes an M90 spring, which makes it possible to reduce the muzzle velocity to ~310 FPS, adapting the replica for close-range and indoor use.

The gearbox, which is reinforced at the level of the cylinder head, conceals a steel main spring guide, which is the element of the Enter & Convert™ system, as well as 8mm ball bearingandSteel threaded wheels which are mounted on spacers. The system is secured with four reversing locks. There is a Type 2 cylinderand the Steel crusherand a Metal hop-up chamber which are used in this replica.

The replica has a upper 22mm RIS rail and an adjustable stock. The upper RIS rail is equipped with a folding sight that can be easily removed and replaced with any optical sight. A folding stock with a non-slip Stockpad allows the user to customise the length of the replica to suit their physique and preferences. A standard flash hider is mounted on a 14mm left-hand thread, which makes it possible to replace it with a silencer.

This model has an 8″, modular, KeyMod handguard. The KeyMod The module can be customised by Segments, e.g. RIS rails (KeyMod nuts) in any position and configuration through holes around the Handguard (KeyMod slots) can be expanded.
