The SA-A12 carbine replica from Specna Arms is predominantly made of a uniform zinc-aluminium alloy, with steel elements being used at the most critical points of the replica (all screws, pins and the tactical suspension are made of steel). The battery compartment and the pistol grip are made of polymer plastic. The housing of the replica and the RIS rail mounting were anodisedwhich guarantees a high level of protection of the replica against corrosion. The paintwork on the replica itself was Powder process after the surface has been sandblasted.

The replica is very well fitted and perfectly balanced - as has almost only been seen with manufacturers of the G&P or Classic Army class. This ensures almost ideal manoeuvrability of the replica, while its weight is also barely noticeable as soon as the replica rests against the shoulder.

The replica uses the quick spring change system, the so-called Enter & Convert™. This allows for quick and efficient adjustment of the replica's performance to the expected battlefield conditions without the need for access to a workshop or a range of specialised tools - after removing the gearbox from the replica's body, the actual spring change takes literally seconds.

The advantages of the Enter & Convert™ system can hardly be overestimated. Given the prevailing tendency throughout Europe to legally limit the firing speed of replicas and the regulations that exist in the environments themselves, this system guarantees the user considerable possibilities and a high degree of freedom. The Enter & Convert™ system allows a minimum of time for replacing the main spring and thus the adjustment of the replica's exit speed to the playing area in order to ensure an ideal compromise between the effectiveness of the weapon and the safety of oneself and other players.

The replica has been fully adapted for operation with LiPo and LiFe batteries. With an initial discharge rate of ~380 FPS guaranteed by the pre-installed main spring, the replica is perfectly suited for use at medium range. A M90 type spring is also included, which allows the initial speed to be reduced to ~310 FPS, making the replica perfect for short distance or indoor use.

The gearbox, which is reinforced at cylinder head height, conceals a steel spring guide that is part of the Enter & Convert™ system and is mounted on the cylinder head. 8mm ball bearingsh and washers Steel gears is mounted. Thanks to the extendable buttstock, which is fitted with a non-slip base, the length of the weapon can be adapted to the shooter's build and preferences. The standard flame extinguisher is mounted on a 14 mm left-hand thread so that a silencer can be fitted in its place.

To increase the realism of the game, the replica is also equipped with a actuated shutter release equipped.

The replica also comes with a hi-cap steel magazine that holds 300 rounds.
