WE MK16 MOD 0 Open Bolt assault rifle replica

The replica is made of metal and durable plastic - ABS. The upper receiver, the outer barrel, the iron sights and all smaller elements such as the trigger, the magazine release, the RIS rail and the selector plate are made of metal. The lower receiver, the stock and the moulded pistol grip are made of plastic. The replica is very similar to the original weapon due to its dimensions and technical solutions. As with the real weapon, a quick-change system was used for the iron sights. There is a hidden spanner under the front sight which can be used to dismantle the replica.

The replica is equipped with a functioning Shutter catch a clamping handle that opens the dust cover. In addition, a further portion of realism is provided by the new system introduced by the manufacturer - the so-called Open Bolt - achieved. The WE replicas equipped with this solution do not have the brass insert in the chamber of the bolt carrier that was present in the first models of this company.

The assault rifle is powered by green gas, which generates a muzzle velocity of around 350 FPS under typical conditions. When firing, the functioning Hard Kick Gas Blowback System for an incomparably larger and more realistic recoil than the electric replicas.

The replica is equipped with a functioning bolt catch button. After pulling the cocking handle, the bolt release button must be pressed so that the bolt carrier returns to its place and the entire mechanism is covered. The replica is equipped with a folding stock, which additionally reduces the dimensions of the replica to a minimum (520mm). The perfectly finished, functional and durable folding sight is mounted on the upper RIS rail.

The magazine included in the set is made of metal and holds 30 BB pellets.
