zSordin Headset

A set of active headsets from Z-Tactical. The set has two microphones (one in each earpiece) that make sounds from the surroundings louder. The user can adjust them to their own preference. Thanks to the volume control for the radio and the earphones, both volumes can be equalised so that radio traffic and ambient noise can be heard clearly. The set can be adjusted to increase or decrease hearing perception if the radio is not loud enough or distracts the user.

In addition, all hearing-impairing noises are automatically muted to a hearing-friendly level. Once the loud noises have ceased, the normal settings are restored. The set has an adjustable, leather-covered, comfortable headband that can be adjusted to fit all head shapes. The microphone is attached to an elasticated cable. The set is powered by two AA batteries. To be functional, the headset must be connected to the PTT module and the radio.
